Penso que o blog é um registo pessoal, diário e possivelmente biográfico de transmissão de informação. 

No contexto escolar, creio que poderá ser mais uma ferramenta extra que poderá ser bastante útil. Permite-nos, em tempo quase real, partilhar informação, sites, vídeos entre outros e colocá-los imediatamente disponíveis para quem nos lê. Poderá ser um espaço de leitura de informação extra aula e funcionar como ponto de partida para uma possível exploração de informação em sala de aula.
